A BRIEF HISTORY OF BUSINESS EXTENSION BUREAU

The company traces its roots to the establishment of a business services firm in 1928 in San Francisco. In December 1949, an affiliated firm, Business Extension Bureau of Texas, Inc. - which today has no relationship with the California company - was established in Houston - and has been completely locally owned and operated since 1960.

BEB, as most customers refer to the company, moved to its present location in 1964, and was involved almost exclusively in information gathering and publishing of the Daily Marketing Reports. The reports listed various data focused on new business openings and new homes purchased, and was used primarily for sales leads. Many of the Report subscribers asked BEB for and about mailing lists, leading to the company becoming a list compiler and nationally recognized list broker.

As a natural adjunct to business reports and mailing lists, today the company provides turnkey mail related marketing services including lists, creative services, printing and virtually all mail handling functions.

Throughout these 50 plus years, the company has remained committed to providing business people a variety of services designed to extend and grow their businesses -- through Business Extension Bureau, Inc. of Texas.
